Laura Mercier Moisture Supreme Foundation-£ |
She matched me up to the shade Warm Ivory and I think it's a really good match for my skin, I was between two shades, but I opted for the warmer shade so I didn't look washed out. It'll also suit me better now we are going into the warmer months and I get a bit more colour in my skin.
The foundation is in a nice sized glass bottle and comes with a pump which is always a bonus these days! You have to give it a good shake before application so quite similar to the Mac Face and Body. You don't need a lot of this for a full face of foundation, I'd say a pump and a half would do your whole face and be able to add a bit of extra coverage where needed.
The finish is nice and natural and isn't overly glowy or matt, it's definitely a medium coverage but easily buildable to a fuller coverage. It doesn't cover all blemishes though but it isn't a heavy weight foundation either. Sometimes it can feel a little tacky throughout the day so a little setting powder would easily solve that problem.
I'd say this is better suited for someone with a normal to dry skin, I don't think it'd be good for oilier skin types but I don't think it'd be great for very dry skin either because when I have dry patches the foundation does tend to cling to them.
Anybody got any more foundation recommendations for dry skin?
