Half-term soon came upon us and I was set the task of looking after my younger brother so I decided we'd take a trip to visit my grandparents in Chester. At least we'd get fed well and there is a lot more stuff to do around here unlike in the countryside.
My brother was set on going to Chester zoo because he adores his animals, unfortunately most of the trip I was feeling rather unwell and was suffering with a lot of stomach ache. Which I think is down to my diet. Side-note: I'm determined to eat better and learn to cook healthy food so I've actually ordered Deliciously Ella's cookbook to help set me on my way.
I did start to feel marginally better later on in the week so we decided to go shopping for an hour or two, of course I couldn't help but pick up a few bits. We started in Debenhams and I was set on buying the Mac Pro longwear concealer, I wanted it to be a bit lighter than my skin tone so I could use it as a bit of a highlighter, but not so light it washed me out. I swatched pretty much every shade before settling on NW20, it's a great shade for me but I possibly could have gone even lighter, hopefully it will suit me better as I get more of a tan as the sunnier months come!

My Grandma and I then headed to Space NK which we don't have anywhere near us! About an hour and a half drive to the nearest one! Can you imagine?! I asked to try the Nars Sheer Glow, sadly they didn't have my shade of foundation so the lady popped a bit of the tester in a pot for me to try at home.
That day my skin was particularly dry and the lady helping me thought my skin might be better suited to the Laura Mercier Moisture Supreme Foundation. She colour matched me and it ended up coming home with me. Review coming soon.
